So I am going to buy a 2x12 for portabitity. I was thinking vader or vintage avatar. What would be the pros and cons of each keep in mind it is running through a 5150. Also other brands would be nice in the $400 dollar range.

I think the Vader would be a better option, far less mid heavy whereas the 5150 is already a very mid heavy amp. Also built better.

I think a Vader would sound awesome with a 5150, especially if you play metal or hard rock. I have the 2x12 and use a Carvin V3 with it, it gives good sound and great low end.
