So... I have a white plastic pickgaurd signed with a sharpie.

I play this guitar...

How would i go about preserving the signiture? Clear coat? what would be ok to use on plastic?

I'm curious about this same thing.

Whose signature is it? (just curious)

well, a few of my friends. no one famous, really.

i'm thinking about "arting" it up.

Also, AWESOME custom guitar, man. flamed maple fretboard?

They made this stuff that you put over signatures on shirt and it protected it in the wash... I don't think that helps much though, haha. And I second the notion, who's it signed by?

Don't want to go off topic when my build thread is still on the first page. Just click the link in my signature and we can discuss there.

It's a birdseye maple fingerboard, anyway. Thanks!

Clear coat would be good,

but I would draw something on the back and practice clearing over it just to test that it would melt the signatures or anything.
