So I am the proud owner of a Sovtek Mig-60 head, but I have no idea how to hook it up to my cab, a Sunn beta 205. I would experiment with different configurations, but I don't want to risk frying either component. Could anyone help me out?
This is what the back of the head looks like:

I assume I would run a cable from the right-most 4 ohm output on the head to the jack labeled "input" on the cab? I guess I am confused by the fact that there are two outputs for 4 ohms on the head. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks!

man, that is wicked. what type of music do you play?
get the appropriate cable (DO NOT USE A NORMAL PATCH CHORD)
the 8ohm output of the head should be fine into bottom input of the cab.

The cab says 4 ohm input. To be safe I'd measure the impedance of the cab. Plug a SPEAKER cable into the input of the cabinet and use a multimeter to make sure its 4 ohms.

you can't the head only has 8 ohms output in mono, and two 4 ohm outputs in stereo, i think

the cab is 4 ohms.

8 ohm head into 4 ohm cab = fail

Like Danyellenik said.

But, you should be fine. The head is probably made from old tanks and plutonium.

Kidding, of course.

That doesn't change the fact that mismatching impedance is a pretty bad idea.

hence the "kidding"
