They haven't heard of Cake?

Anyway, I don't think many people have heard of Canvas Solaris, An Endless Sporadic, The Amelia Premiere, Aurelius, or Basilica. Check all of them out, seriously, they're all awesome.

EDIT: Just checked Tesseract. Fecking awesome too, man

I have recreated a Mattocaster with Kaoss Pad built into the body. If you would be interested in having this mod done to your guitar, let me know!

Trés Bien!

If you live around Tampa, Florida, you might know them, but they're not that popular yet.

90% of the bands I LOVE aren't know by the vast majority of people I know.

Opeth (you would be surprised at how unknown they still are)
H.O.P.E.
Harvey Milk
Russian Circles
Genghis Tron
Anorexia Nervosa
The Black Mages
Botch
Converge
Coalesce
Buried at Sea
Cave In
Amplifier
Darker My Love
Jesu
Kaki King
Neurosis
No Age
ISIS
Mouth of the Architect
65daysofstatic

etc.

I don't really expect most of the people I meet to know, them, though. The South really isn't known for its citizens to have extremely broad musical tastes.

You must live in a very remote part of New Orleans, then.

I could hear any one of those bands on the radio here, at least. I would bet most people have heard those bands, as well, just don't know their names.

Especially Blind Melon, Jane's Addiction, and The Cure.
