Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent mic that can be used to record vocals and acoustic guitar. Budget is about £50-£80.

I'll probably be using a Line 6 toneport with it.

Used Shure SM57, they're only £65 new, but used would save cash
Or the SM58. Depends what you want to sound better.

SM58 ---> Vocals
SM57 ---> Guitar

A cheap condenser mic would do the trick, though you need phantom power.

i'd say get two mics so you can record both at the same time with good sound quality. i use an SM57 for acoustic guitar and the SM58 for vocals.

SM57 for both. Do you already have a Toneport, and if so which one?
