I read a few online guides and the stickies in here. Here is what I have gotten myself into.

I have a simple lyon by washburn electric guitar. It has 2 humbuckers (bridge and neck). My brother works at the local mall and a Sam Goody's was closing and they threw away (yes threw away) all of there guitars, amps, accessories. They smashed all the necks ect ect. He managed to save a few but anyways I degress. He gave me some humbuckers he pulled off some of the broken guitars. I have what I think is Ibanez V7 and a V8 humbuckers. I took the backplate off my guitar and clipped the wires to the pickups. It was just one each. Pulled them out and mounted the other ones. Except their is an extra wire in the V7 and V8. What I originally had was a single wire with a ground on it. Now I have a red and white with a ground. Not sure how to wire it. Or just completely rewire it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I can provide pictures if that helps.
