Hi all. I've decided to sell my Mesa Mark IV combo (PM if interested) because it has too much stuff and is too heavy so I will consequently need a new amp.
These are my parameters:
1x12 combo
2 channels
Can do Frusciante cleans given a Strat.
Can do Tool (Jambi in particular as a reference) reasonably well given an HH guitar.
Budget: $2000 max and I will go used
Does my dream gigging amp even exist?

what about the randall amp with the modules? you can choose a nice black face for cleans, a nice pleixi module, and a high gain one for tool. (i dont recall the name of the amp though)

It was like a orgasm in my ear.

+1 those amps intrigue me. Seems like awesome versatility.

Maybe also check out a Slawn Nitro. Matrix Claw I believe just moved from a MarkIV to the Slawn after very intense research. You will have to PM tho.

Outside of that - good luck man.

I'll have to check the Randall out if they carry them at GC.

pretty sure they don't stock randall at gc. unless you get it used.
framus makes some good stuff. though the only models i've played are 3 channels.
also not stocked at gc.

Blackstar Artisan 30.

Even though it's a 2x12.

Would the Rivera KR-55 combo do what I want? Based on design and clips it seems pretty good; anyone have any experience?
