Anywhere from 2 to 10 depending on what I'm going for.

I put my mids at 1 on my Marshall MG100Dfx. My bass is on 2 and my treble is on 8. Sometimes, I max the treble just for fun.

I'm always changing my EQ to compensate for different stuff I play. I generally have the bass around 6-ish, the mid around 4-ish, and the the treble around 8-ish. However if I'm playing Metallica I will drop the mids a little more, Ozzy I will turn the mids up a bit, etc. etc.

Whatever I have my EQ set on, the mids are usually located between the treble and bass settings.
That may have been a little confusing, but say that my treble was at 6, and my bass was at 4, that means my mids would be around 5.

But, even though my mids are a bit lower, it sounds more like they are set on 9 or 10 due to the really middy speakers my amp has. Diming the mids on my amp really doesn't sound too hot, i've realized once you consider the large mid hump of the speakers.

Treble - 8
Mids - 7
Bass - 0 or 1
Presence - 6 or 7

Yeap.

What amp is it? I do understand that some amps really need some frequencies cut and boosted, but that seems a bit overboard on the treble boost and bass cut.

JTM45.

Yeah, it seems like a weird eq setup, but on a les paul the bass on this thing cannot be turned passed 2 or else it completely flubs out.

I voted for 6 but my amp goes to 12, so technically 5.

Bass - 6-10
Mids - 6
Treble - 8

All out of 12.

I like the keep my mids around 3 o'clock, and my bass is usually around 1 with my treble varying depending on what tone I'm after.

This kind of topic is pretty useless. Different amps are voiced differently and have different tonal ranges and qualities. 5 on one person's amp may sound like 10 on another's.
#19
As high as the knob goes. I like a lot of punch in my sound.

mine's on 8.
i love boosted mids

On my VK

Bass: 6
Mid:8
Treb:7

then i use my eq700 to further shape, with boosted mids of course.
