Why do they still pack CDs in those hard plastic cases? I've seen a few cases made of paper or cardboard or whatever (Stadium Arcadium and On An Island for example) and those hold up pretty well. The problem with the hard plastic is that it breaks way too easily. Like if anyone remembers those PSX game cases, EVERY SINGLE ONE got smashed one way or another. Now they pack DVDs and games in this softer plastic and it can take a lot of beating, so why do they still pack CDs in those sh*tty cases?

About a year ago I bought 2 Megadeth CDs (Rust In Peace & Countdown To Extinction) online and they were both broken when I got them in the mail. Then sometimes I drop one and they break. With a DVD case I'd have to throw it against a brick wall to break it.

You wonder why people download their music? Its because the record labels package everything cheaply. At least thats's one of my reasons.

^ Or the opposite when one of the little things that hold the CD in place breaks off and then it's pretty much useless.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.
