I'd save up a few hundreds more to get something more gigable.

Cus later you're gonna wish you had a better guitar and ur gonna spend the money later neways man.

i havnet been playing that long and i have an electric
looking to buy an acoustic to knock around with so
gigging wont be an issue

Look at the under 300 thread. Its close enough to your price range to give you a good idea of some quality gits. Then go play them and find what you like.

well make sure you get some decent tuners and get the nut cut right.

other wise it wont stay in tune (usless) (in my opinion)

Other than that...its what you like......someone else might think gibsons are the best guitars ever and someone else may think they are horrible.

Its all what you like.......so go to a music store...try some stuff out....talk to the guys there and they will help you out.
