So I got WI 164DL Washburn, its an older model in the Idol series. I want to put a tremolo system in it. Not a Floyd Rose or a Kahler, Something that I can use for the slight vibrato; I don't want to do any dive bombs. I'd like something that doesnt require any routing. I was looking at putting a bigsby on it but the way the Knobs are i don't know if they would be in the way or not. Heres a picture to the closest thing, its the one with humbuckers.

Washburn Idol

What do you guys think?

Wow that is a tough one. I would say get the measures and see. Stew Mac normally has them for stuff like that. You may be able to fit it in. I know the Bigsby-style unit on my Ibby is pretty close to the knobs. My main concern would be if the guitar is long enough to fit one on.

I know you said not Kahler, but the Hybrid sounds ideal for what you're describing. Other than that +1 to CJRocker's post.

I think one of the stubby, short ones might fit on it. I would measure and see.
