They are a horrible band.
They definitely don't belong in hardcore.
You have a Korn avatar.

Yes, I have a Korn avatar. So what?

I put them in here because their Wikipedia page says Hip Hop/Emo/Metal and I figured "Hm. Metal + Rap = Rap Metal" and "Rapcore" is a synonym for such. And having it end in -core gives it hardcore influences. Ergo, the hardcore forum.

Btw, love the song in your profile. That you?

You should take math again because nothing about that statement legitimately adds up.

what is with this forum lately...

some rap artists consider themselves HARDCORE RAP.

This band is scene rap. There's nothing hardcore about them at all other than the fact that they have one or two background screams in their songs.
I enjoy them, but....hardcore?

They don't have any emocore or metal influences at all so their myspace description is useless.

Paramore also has "regional mexican" down as their genre. I'm not ****ting you.

But they probably assume most people that have an intelligence level somewhere between a rock and a plank of wood, and are able to understand that their music clearly is not regional mexican.

Rapcore isn't a genre.

I rescind my previous statement.

Biohazard is the ONLY rapcore band. Everything else is just faggotry.

Hahaha. What the hell, Paramore? And thank you for explaining, it actually makes sense now. I still believe they have emocore elements in them (Listen to the lyrics of Knife Called Lust or My Black Dahlia)

They profess a genre established on gimmicks and lack any substance whatsoever.

They have absolutely no hardcore or metalcore influences, but claim it to get scene-points. They don't even have guitars/drums or anything to even qualify them as even being a remotely rock-oriented band. They're horrendously overplayed, and don't even meet the par of what a good hip hop band should sound like.

They're cancer because they spread a bad thing throughout the music scene. That bad thing being ****ty hiphop.

They're like ICP for scene kids. **** is almost as bad as 3OH3.

FAIL. Emocore = Emotional Hardcore. AKA Fugazi/Rites of Spring/Embrace. Not whatever the hell's considered now (who is anyways? MCR, The Used and HH are all alternative rock now).

The other things are opinions. This was the only thing that could be taken as a fact and I want to know why he says they're overplayed.

they have no metalcore or hardcore influence = fact
they don't have guitar or drums = fact
they don't even sound like a good hip hop band = also a fact believe it or not

and the fact that they do it for scene points, is also a fact, you just don't know any better so you think it is an opinion

The first two are facts, yes, I believe that now after having it pointed out. The third, however, is an opinion. It may be a heavy-sided opinion, but an opinion nonetheless. Finally, the fourth is partly correct: they do it for scene points - apparently a fact; I don't know any better - false.

Sorry for ignoring this thread for so long. Just clicked that 'no. 5' youtube link, absolutely terrible (sorry Royal Celebi but it's true). Not even vaguely hardcore either.
