So i just changed my strings a few days ago. from a really light gauge that came with the guitar to 10(not sure what it had on it to begin with). i like the heavier/fuller tone. but the fret buzz is just more then i can ignore. Now ive read up on people with similar issues and the common word of advice was to take it into the pros to get the truss rod 'n intonation reset up. i have two questions what could i do presently (in all my nubbyness) to try and fix it myself? And what will it cost to get fixxed profesionally after i have royally effed up? i have an epiphone les paul studio if that will aide you in your giving advice.

I'd raise the action and see if that helps. That fixed my fret buzz problem instantly.
