I've decided to go down the road of single pedals and I'm trying to finalize my list of what I'm going to assemble. So far it looks like this:

*Crybaby 535q
*MXR Phase 90
*Tubescreamer (Not sure which one??)
*Boss DD-3
*Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer
*EHX small clone
*Behringer PB1000 Pedal Board (Seems like a good deal?)
*EHX Holy Grail Reverb
*Some kind of Noise Gate...Boss???

*I also have a boss DS-1 which I was thinking of using although I was wondering if I should trade up for an MXR-104. And I mean with a tubescreamer are these even necesscary?

I'm mostly play hard rock, grunge, alternative and some metal. Eg. Nirvana, AC/DC, Metallica, Van Halen, RHCP, Hendrix, Guns N Roses and Clapton.

So:

1. Will this suit my needs?
2. What should I do about my overdrive and distortion?
3. Should I buy a noise gate
4. Is the Behringer a decent powered pedalboard or should I get another?
The gear:

* Epiphone Les Paul Custom
* Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature 7 String
* Fender Squier P Bass
* Blackstar Stage HT-60
* Original Crybaby
* EHX Small Clone
* Boss DD-3

i would think it would be cheaper, and much more fun to build your own pedal board.

1: Yes. i guess it would
3: Yes. get the Boss one or the ISP
4: Like said before. build it yourself. BUT , you should get adecent powersupply (PedalPower2), and build the bor from a piece of wood, put some carpet on it. and attach it with some velcro.

Isn't it odd, that Iron Man is a superhero, whereas "iron, woman!" is a command?
