Ok, first of all, this is for residents of AUSTRALIA ONLY.

No experience required. Preference given to those with woodworking or guitar tech experience. NO interstate or international applications.

Looking for TWO assistants for both FULL time and/or PART time work in a busy guitar workshop. Hours of employment are negotiable between 14 and 38 hours per week. NO experience required. University students seeking part time work encouraged to apply.
YOU choose the hours/days you work. NO early starts. NO working back late.

Roles include:
General guitar tech duties (setups, electronics, etc), sanding, cleaning, general housekeeping, etc. Looking to the future, expect to be trained to assemble, then build from scratch.

Experience/Pay:
No experience required, training will be provided. Award rates. Bonuses for efficient work, etc. Tools and machinery provided. Access to workshop for private building is ok. You will be encouraged to build your own guitars in your free time, using our tools and machinery.

Hours:
No early starts. No overtime, although some Saturdays would be nice. Days of work flexible, start and finish times flexible, and bring your own CD's

Location:
Two minutes from the beach, one minute to local shopping centre, three minutes to Fremantle. Local applications only please.

how local do you have to be? where is your workshop? i live in thornlie lol.

Awesome! I'm in Perth! Too bad I'm lazy. I doubt I'd contribute to efficiency anyway although I've always wanted to learn about guitar making. I wasn't very proficient in my woodworking/shop classes. I got a B grade...
