I've heard that legato is easier on higher gauge strings... Is that true? I've never really had the chance to try it out b/c i use .9s on my electric... Although i'm thinking about switching to .10s in the near future.

I find that as long as your technique is good it all comes down to taste.

yeah id say that u should probably stick with what uve got at the moment and advance ur technique a bit. legato shouldnt be a problem on lower gauged strings after uve had the practice. keep at it!
