If you started the thread, delete the first post (use the edit button, and select "delete") and if you didn't start the thread report it to a moderator if you think it should be deleted (click the little ! button at the bottom of the post)

Using the edit button delete method, you can also delete posts that you have posted.
Fill in the reason you delete it too, because if you don't (at least, for me) it won't work.

please take the time to fill in a reason when you report posts, guys. it helps us out so we know exactly what to look for when we check the link, and so we can judge which reports might be more urgent than others.
