The DaVinci Code, in 5 hours. I didn't stop for ANYTHING, and i was disappointed.
The arena is empty except for one man,
Still driving and striving as fast as he can.
The sun has gone down and the moon has come up,
And long ago somebody left with the cup,
But he's driving and striving and hugging the turns...

Brave New World in about 7 hours... about 276 pages, but there was some heavy philosophical stuff at the end that I had to read twice to understand.

Funny that it ended up being one of my favorite books I've ever read.

Oh yeah? I"ll definitely be looking into it sometime soon, I'm finishing reading The Great Gatsby for the second time right now.

Oh, and more on topic with the thread question, I'm not sure what the fastest I've read a book, I read King's Dreamcatcher rather quickly though, it's of decent size, and an amazing read.

I read black pearl in just under 2 minutes. I read the first 4 Harry Potter books in under 8 hours, including 2 meals and going to the bathroom. I read the last Harry Potter book in 4 hours, including eating a meal about halfway through. I know how to speed read, and it helps when I read regularly. But I wouldn't count me because of that.

The Great Gatsby was a ****ing wreck, that book proved nothing to me other than the American dream is to have the freedom to bitch about how your neighbor is richer and better looking than you are. I still wonder to this day how it is considered a classic.

I got Harry Potter 7 at its midnight release, and finished it before 5 a.m.

I read Insomnia by Stephen King (1000 some pages) in 7 hours (from noon to 7) and took a test on it at my school (AR ftl). I got a 100% on it
