Was looking at getting a epiphone, they all play about the same which do you think look the best? The SG? LP?
#2
They don't all play about the same at all. Try an Elitist Les Paul, they look and play really nice.

Epiphone LP Customs look terrible. Terribly made off-color bindings paired with block inlays that aren't big enough = fail.

Mine, it is in my profile.

Les Paul Custom Silverburst.

I wouldn't change mine for any other guitar...

Les Paul Custom Silverburst.

if you're looking for an epi, I'd suggest this one (based on looks)

don't get the prophecy ones, they have the "guitar hero" plastic feel imo
#9
i have five guitars by swear by my les paul custom (ebony) - don't listen to a guy with justin hawkins as his avatar, they look awesome. the block inlays fill the frets, no? it looks classy for any style of playing
#10
i dig the color and inlay of the Epi Prophecy guitars. also the Epi Elitist LP.
Ibanez RG321MH (Air Classic/Tone Zone)
Fernandes Telecaster (Twang King/stock bridge pickup)

the Epi Lucille guitar is pure distilled sex in guitar form, and the Sheraton II is a close runner up, though some of those Elite one are nice as well.

Those are horrible. To me at least.

Anyways, I'd say a sunburst Les Paul. Cherry sunburst. Or a wine red one, those are nice.

lp custom with an alpine white finish are the sexiest thing made of wood.
but the tobacco sunburst is a close second, just cuz its so classic

Epiphone Les Paul Special II

Epiphone G-400's are good, well now that they started making them in China they are hit or misses. Mine I think was chinese made and other than some easily fixed minor problems mine is great.

+1, my Epi LP had a high fret and a bent in bridge, but was otherwise fine, and it was chinese made.

I really like how the Prophecy EXes look... but I hate the pickup configuration. EMGs? No thx.

I'd say a faded sunburst LP, but since there are so many LPs shown here, I'll show off another cool one-

#36
I think the LP Ultra II with the quilted maple top is definately the best looking Epi.
