Hey,

has anyone here got any personal opinions on the Gibson Les Paul Studio?
also, what styles of music are they best at?

It's a decent guitar, neck will seem chunky if your used to shred machines, its a les paul so it will be best at classic and hard rock

Well, i went to try one out just, they're really good, the neck's just right, you can shred on them too.
It was £850 and it was the black with gold hardware, but i really prefer the alpine white ones. It was pretty good for metal too, i was going through a small randall SS amp, and the pinch harmonics were sweet, i wish they had my amp in store so i could have tried it through that .

The only problem that i found with them, is that they go out of tune pretty quick, is this solveable?

thanks in advance

Epiphone LP custom would probably be just as good. If you really want a Gibson, studios are good guitars. Just not as flashy as the standards or customs. If it goes out of tune a lot maybe a small tuner upgrade would be good?
