anyone know this one phrase from no one knows by queens of the stone age?

c-----------------------------------------------------------------
g----10--10--8---10-10--8-------------10-10--8----10--10br----
e-----x---x-----9--x---x-------9----------x---x-----9--x---x------
b-----9---9--------9---9------------------9---9--------9---9------
f-----7---7---------7---7------------------7---7--------7---7------
c-0-----------------------------12\---0------------------------12\

its copy pasted so its a lil off on structure, but im having trouble with the strumming. the last 8-9's. how do some of you guys do it or how would you? right now i can see single picking really slowly, or finding a way to mute other strings and strum through?

any ideas would help, i wanna get this song down =D

dude.
Just keep listenening to the song.
You'll eventually get it.
They're short strokes mostly up.
The part with 9-8 or whatever, just use your pick carefully there.

It's not really that you should pick those notes individually, the tab is a little confusing.

What you should be doing there is still strumming the full chord but moving your little finger from the 10th fret G string to the 9th fret D# string. The best way to finger that it to have your index finger on the 7th fret, ring finger on the 9th fret A# string and middle finger on the 8th fret G string so your pinky is the only finger that actually moves apart from when you're doing the slides down.
