if your drummer isnt too loud and/or if you can be micd it would probably be plenty loud at 40 watts SS. however, i would look else where for an amp more suited to gigging.

Not sure about the Envoy bit, but I have the transtube 110 efx and it's not bad for SS. The 40 watts is more then enough to deal with a drummer. It also took some fiddling to dial in. Mine was about $100 more then what that lists at so i doubt if it's the same thing. Try before you buy.

that amp would be okay for home practice but you should probably look towards something better for a gigging amp. whats your budget, what styles do you play, etc..
