All I have is a crappy first act electric guitar/amp set. But I have a Kona 12 Signature Acoustic which is a very good acoustic guitar, however its not very well known. Then I have a ModTone dist. pedal from my local music store.

you've never heard of First Act?!?

Most people know of that brand...its what some noobs start out with.
I'm sure there's better choices to start with, even more so with used gear however FA gear works...
