This may be a really stupid question but I'm going to order new power tubes for my amp and it's the first time i've ever replaced them and when I was looking into buying a new set i noticed that there are different ratings you can buy ie 1-3 gt, 4-7 gt or 8-10 gt. I have no clue as to what the different ratings mean so what would be a good set to buy for a more aggressive vintage tone think Slash, Joe Perry.

I don't think it's too important - I think it might be subtle difference in gain, etc.
Just get the middle numbered ones.

But, I could be wrong,
