I've recently got into playing slide, and I really like the Open D Tuning. What are some good songs to learn in this tuning? I would really appreciate it if they had a slide part/solo in it lol

Open D is a great tuning. Lots of Allman Brothers Stuff was in Open E, which you'll have if you put a capo on the second fret. Or you can just play it in D.

The most fun about Open tunings and slide though, is just to jam. Just work off a 12 bar blues, open is the I chord, D in this case, the IV chord is at the 5th fret, and the V chord is at the 7th fret.

Just play around with that, and throw in some slide licks. Great Fun.
It's Only Rock and Roll, But I like It
