Hey, I was wondering if someone could make something a bit more clear for me regarding my Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator. Now, when I watched the demo video the guy pretty much said that the way the pedal can work, you can have your amp's distortion on, and when you turn on the AC-3, it'll mute the distortion and use the acoustic sound. And when you turn off the AC-3, it will go back to the distortion. Now, when I first got the pedal, this happened to me by accident, but when I tried to recreate the same effect later on I never quite got it.

I'll be honest, frankly I don't know how to use the pedal very well past step to turn, step to turn off and setting the tone. I know there's supposed to be a way to create the same distortion canceling effect, but I don't know how. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can help me?
