so i have been looking for a good website that has an easy way to show you a lot of different kinds of scales and i recently founf this one: http://www.chordbook.com/guitarscales.php

but im not sure how legit it is...i dont really know anything at all on theory but i would like to and i would like to learn scales as well..im just not sure about its representation of blues scales and pentatonic scales, do they hold the same positions, but just at different places on the fretboard?

for example, look at the C Blues Scale, variation 3, it of course starts and ends on a C, then the D Blues Scale, variation 3 has all of the same fingerings, just down on a D, and im honestly just not sure if thats how scales work..........some insight?

yip seems right. Take a scale pattern in C and move it up two frets to get the same scale pattern in D
