ok, so 2 days ago i got a used 03 gibson les paul standard, and overall, its amazing, but my only complaint is, the neck pickup seems to be a little bassy and not clean up with the volume knob as much as id like. any good pickups that would solve this? btw, it has burstbuckers now.

I came up with this kick ass riff on my ukelele when I was 12. Find out two years later, it was smoke on the water. Got my hopes and dreams killed..

neck pickups ARE bassy...lower the pickup a bit and leave the treble side a little higher.

^Yeah exactly. REally the neck pickups of Les Pauls are really bassy, so don't expect otherwise.
