So I'm writing a song, and the vocal melody sounds so familiar that I know I've heard it before, but I can't figure out what it is.

I've tabbed it out the best I can, including the notation so you can get the rhythm. Counting in half notes, the tempo is around 76 bpm. It's also kind of swung. It's not straight 8th notes at all.

If it helps, I think the song is a altrock/folkrock kind of song.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ketchup.

Well the last three notes are a major triad, and the 6-7-6 is a 3rd to a 4th to a 3rd.

So it's basically a major chord.
