Hi UG, I Have somewhat of a dilemma here...

My 18th Birthday is coming up, and my Girl has said to me she wants to buy me something I'll love and get good use out of, so i suggested we go pedal shopping, the thing is, I have no Idea what I'd like to add to my setup, so I thought i'd hand it over for discussion.

I Play Rhythm Guitar in a General Rock/Classic Rock/Blues/Funk Band, and I occasionally take solo's here and there My current setup goes like

Dunlop Wah (Lowest of the range, ripped off when i was a n00b)
Boss Blues Driver (Which I Love)
USA EHX Big Muff( Which I Also Love)
Boss DD-3 Delay
Boss OC-2 (bargain at £15 brand new)
Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion(Free from a friend)

My main Influences are people like Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, The Edge, BB King, Pete Townshend all the real classic rockers etc etc

Price range No more than £85

which doesn't leave many options, seen as my Girl has saved some of her EMA money just to buy me something, I'll be willing to go to £100 if the pedal is spectacular.

I Just want something new, an effect that can add different sounds into the mix, after 3 years anyway :P

One thing I had considered was The Line 6 Verbzilla, I tried it at my local shop and loved the Octo and 63 spring reverbs,

but yeah, I'm willing to look into all suggestions really guys

thanks for any help I get

Reverb could be good. Try an EHX Holy Grail, they're well within that price range and sound pretty good.

A compressor could be a good buy as well, to subtly enhance your tone/ use for ridiculously over-the-top squish, which can sound fun (I've just ordered an EHX Soul Preacher, which was the best compressor I tried in my (lower) price range, for £55).

Also, chorus is a nice effect, and can be really good for both rhythm and solos.

Basically, try any effects you can in that price range!

More ideas: phaser, flanger, a second delay...

EDIT: Took out tremolo after seeing that comment!
