I'm guessing this is new. My friend just got the Queen Greatest Hits album and he gets a message when he tries to rip it to his pc. Is there any way past this?

What message is it?
Play the man, Master Ridley; we shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.

what your doing is illegal! do you have permission to copy this?! HMMMMMMMM?!

seriously you must be doing it wrong, its a pretty simple process
#6
some have that, pretty gay. the only one i've personally had that experience with is switchfoot cd's
#7
the message is:

copy controlled disc decrypter version 3.2.2.0

he said there were more numbers

Then you have to crack the disc yourself.

Happy hacking.

If I can take off the copy-protection from DVDs, ripping CDs shouldn't be any harder.

Consult with Google and then hit up your favourite torrent trackers.

Or hold shift as Spydr suggested.
