in about 2 months. i was wondering, what are some good pedals i should invest in after that? i mainly play metalcore and punk. have a 72 telecaster deluxe, standard tele, and a little old viper.

what types of music do you play, do you gig/play in a band, what would be your budget?

i play usually just parties. the occasional gig at a local bar/venue. i play metalcore and punk. and budget-wise, something an 18-19 year old guy working fulltime at a pizza place could eventually afford. and im not wanting a full stack anytime soon.

i always say Overdrive or gain booster(gain, sustain, extra attack), chorus(great in cleans, convenient pedal to have), phaser(awesome if you play lead, can be used to sound like a delay, rendering delay kinda obsolete) delay is good if you are not using it in lead. always say these....
OD/Boost: Ibanez TS-9, MXR ZW-44, MXR Boost
Chorus: MXR Stereo Chorus, EHX Small Clone
Phaser: MXR Phase 90

yes. mxr makes awesome pedals. probably the best.

no dont listen to people who say boss. i'm assuming you dont like bad or fake sounding effects. distortion is useless.. you have a randall.. reverb is pretty useless because most amps have them and digital reverb sounds like trash when you play loud or in a gig. reverb pedals are only good for recording. might want a tuner pedal???

DOWN WITH DIGITAL PEDALS!!!!!! unless you're cheap, impatient, or poor... then digital effects are ok.
