Basically, this is on my network connection, not by my choice.
Is there any way to circumvent it, preferably easily?

find the IPs of the sites you want to visit and either access them directly by IP or put them in your hosts file (its in <windowsdir>\system32\drivers\etc\ )

Start>Run>CMD.

Ping www.[insert_website_name].com

When it says

Reply from: xx.xx.xx.xx (or whatever number it says), jot the number down.

Now, go to your web browser, and type in http://xx.xx.xx.xx

For instance, UG for me is http://85.17.164.150

do a whois on the site you want to visit, it'll tell you the IP address of the site
http://whois.domaintools.com/
for example, if you type in ultimate-guitar.com and it'll tell you in the section under server data that the IP is 85.17.164.150

then open up notepad

go to file->open and travel to the directory mentioned earlier, make sure it shows all files, not just .txt files then open up the hosts file

add a line that says
85.17.164.150 www.ultimate-guitar.com
and save it

you may have to restart your network connection but thats more or less it
might not work that well on some sites where they're spread over multiple servers

or former just get the IP and put it into your browser

pinging the URL won't work if his DNS server is already changing the address

the third option is to just use one of those online proxy sites
