hello UG,

since i now use a roland cube 15x (witch isnt that good) i've been thinking about a new amp.
So what amp would be good for that old raunchy rock/punk sound?

my budget is about 400-500 dollars, but if its really good i guess i can go higher.
so , give me ideas !

Just bedroom practice or giging?
Would you buy used?
Near what major city do you live?

best amps for the money are either the fender blues jr or blues deluxe depending on your needs. add a nice distortion pedal to it and you can get any tone imaginable.

Nearest city dictates the used market, saves you money.

British voiced, medium gain. A used Peavey Classic 30 or Laney VC30, I am not familiar with the used market by you. Here are some new options to try and see if they fit your style but I recommend that you look used to save some cash.
