I'd like to learn sitar, but only if George Harrison could teach me!
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Bagpipes... Even though they sound horrible.

Digeridoo (Seriously, love the things), Cello, and Double Bass.

I'ld like to learn the Cello.
They're cool. But they're not really that unconventional.

I'ld like to try out the Oud or something too...
#27
I wish I could play the spoons.

My grandad can but he won't teach em the ways of the masters

Harpsichords were invented first- instead of hitting the strings with hammers, each note plucks a string. The sound is a lot different, and there is no dynamic change from pressing the keys harder of softer.

Going by the OP's description; they are 'not used in Rock Music a lot'.
I, too, disagree with this, but lets just quit trying to feel superior and play along?

Yeah, I'd also choose the hurdy-gurdy. I would have no idea where I'd buy one though.... saw one on Ebay once but it was really expensive.
