On my Fender Stratocaster, upon depressing the tremolo bar, I hear a sort of a rusty fence noise. Is this treatable or not?

Does anything look wrong?

It may be just the springs, my Floyd made that sound when I first got my guitar, but it's been fine since then.

It looks fine. If I go slowly it makes no noise, but when I depress and release or depress and pull it cries for help.

Does it sound like it echos for a bit aswell? Does it happen when you hit the strings hard aswell? It might just be the springs vibrating.

I'd like a permanent fix :P

That IS the permanent fix...springs creak, there's nothing you can do about that.

Yup. You won't hear it through the pickups though, so don't worry too much about it. It happens to my guitar aswell, and I just live with it.
