Piece for two guitars. I play a BC rich rich bich, he plays a gibson LP standard. Well, first we tried cannon in D, but he didn't like that. Then we tried to do thunderstuck...but he gave up. Then we tried to do "To live is to die" but i think that was beyond his skill level. Whats something we could learn for two guitars? I would prefer metal but anyting really.

Sweet Child o Mine =D

Oh yeah, and try having one of you playing rhythm to a song while the other does the vocal melody on guitar. That's always fun.

I think Scarified is for two guitars, but it may be above his skill level. Maybe While My Guitar Gently Weeps somehow?

well what are u looking to play? Like he has a rhythmn part and you have a lead (or vica versa)? Or like you each have harmonized lead parts?

FOO FIGHTERS-THE PRETENDER

WHY YOU ASK?

1) it has 2 easy guitar parts
2) as I said before, it's easy
3) it sounds good when in harmony

It isn't metal but it's good for starters

Could try Fade To Black-Metallica, but the 2 guitars aren't exactly playing at the same tme the whole time.

Air by Jason Becker. If it's a bit too hard, you could try Black Stallion, a jam by Friedman and Becker. It's only for two guitars, so it wont sound like anythings left out. ^^

^Try a load of Iron Maiden. Whatever part you play it's fun. Play The Trooper, Aces High, Run to the Hills, Phantom of the Opera...most of their '80s stuff to be honest.

if he give up on thunderstuck, then something tells me that he's not a GREAT guitarist

he said he didn't like it. I was gonna play the tapping parts and he was gonna play the chords.

I'm not sure i follow your comment, but actually i think he just doesn't like that song. I told him that it was above his skill level just to piss him off, and he got pissed off!!! (lol) Honestly, i think he just is one of those guys who only plays guitar to impress girls. And he won't WORK on anything...if he can't play it after like two or three tries he just gives up. I guess we will try some maiden, but still open to other suggestions as well.
