i really want your rig

aha thanks, took me a long time to get it all together.

As for motivation, for me, I have to get REALLY into a song that I like, an example would be a couple weeks ago I was REALLY obsessed with Tornado of Souls by Megadeth, especially the solos, and I HAD to learn it kind of thing, don't be afraid to branch out your styles of music, if your a metal head, don't be ashamed listening to Jazz, listen to what ever you want to.

That's the only way to keep yourself fully motivated, just find the songs you REALLY like, it can changed, every month, week, even day.

listen to Jazz

Do this. Expand your musical horizons, and every time you pick up the guitar work on something new and different to force your fingers to adapt. The more you push yourself in different directions the better you will be as a guitar player, and an easy way to do this is to listen to and play multiple genres of music.
