Hi folks,
Can anyone help me out confirming the names of a couple of chords?
The first is

-2-
-3-
-2-
-4-
-0-
---

Is it just a D major?

The next one is

-4-
-5-
-4-
-6-
---
---

Is this one just an E Major?

Thanks

the first one is NOT a D and the second one NOT an E, but I don't know what they are called. It's not a Major, Minor, 7, of 7m chord (that's the only type of chords I know)

the first one is D/A and the second one is E/G#
they are just inversions of the major chords...

The first one is a D major in its 2nd inversion (5th on the bass) the other one an E major in its 1st inversion (3rd on the bass)

The first is D/A (D major on an A root) and the second one is E/G# (E major with G# as the root note).

Just, no. Locrian should be treated like that gay cousin. Just avoid him cuz he's weird, unstable, and is attracted to the wrong thing.

Big deal, I bought a hamster once and they put that in a box...doesn't make it a scale.
