Well at least Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are going to reprise their roles. What is the pit's opinion on this? The original was amazing. Easily the best kids movie I've ever seen. I'd say it is even better than Lion King. The sequel was a very good film too but it's not a classic like the original.

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.

Pixar need to keep going forward. Wall-E was amazing

bringing toy story back seems like such a step backwards

loved toy story though, even though the creepy toys in Sid's room scared the hell out of me when i was little

Toy Story one was ok. Second one was poor IMO. I reckon the new one might be decent though, Pixar have put out some brilliant films lately, better than the Original Toy Story I think.

eh I think it might have been a bit too long. Very few people will remember it and kids these days want more action orientated ****.

Still, great movies the first two.

what brought that up?

just so you know, most of it is Woody/Buzz :|

also, how can you say that Toy Story was the best Disney movie when there are movies like Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King? Those movies won academy awards.

This a promotional pic for it. Yes, that's right folks, they're referencing the Chinese toy recalls. Just ****ing lovely.

I actually prefered the first idea! Kids aren't gonna know anything about any possible references.

toys don't age

I loved both those movies as a kid. I can still remember the song Sarah Mclachlan sung in the 2nd one, one of the saddest scenes in any movie ever I think.

I thought there wasn't going to be any more. Pixar want to hurry up and get out of contract with disney so they can get all the profits themselves as disney actually do jack s**t on their movies. Sequels don't count towards their contract, and neither company would be willing to sell the rights.

Unlike a lot of disney movies, the second Toy Story was actually pretty good.

I think sequels are always considered worse purely because they are sequels, and it's not an original idea any more. Like the Shrek series. The first Shrek was a cult film. The other two, on their own, were also good movies, but because they're all a continuation of the same thing, it just seems like they went too far.

That's why sequels never live up the original. Although I think Toy Story 3 will be good.

that's the case with most sequels, especially disney sequels.

they make a classic film and go and **** on it with as crappy follow-up.

I think I actually prefer the sequel. It's also not my favourite Pixar film.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

The Lion King had its head a little too far up its own ass for my taste. Aladdin was the ultimate Disney movie.
