How loud will the Epiphone Cab Extension for the Valve Jr. go with 5W of power? Good for gigging w/drummer?

Not without a mic and a PA, IMHO. Even then, it wouldn't be my choice for gigging. If you're working with another guitar or keys, you'll have almost no hope of cutting thru. MAYBE you could get by with just a bass and drums, but you'd have no cleans at all.

^Agreed. Extra speakers don't really add much volume, it's more about the tone than anything. 5 watts is 5 watts and 5 watts isn't gonna cut the cheese.

True. I mic mine for gigs, with a volume boost it's aot better but if the drummer ever starts to go nuts you'll be lost in the noise.
