Hello,

Recently, I played a Gibby LP studio, and what i think was either a 76' reissue explorer or an x-plorer.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 76' and x-plorer please?

and the main question,

A " low end " Gibson ( being studio ) is priced at £850, needs new tuners, so its not worth the money, is it?
While a high end gibson for £829 ( the explorer i played ) which doesnt need any work doing at all. (I say high end because its the most expensive explorer they do)

Now, which one would be better in the long run?

Thanks in advance

schaller would be fine. i use dunlops

all you have to do is unscrew the strap buttons and screw in the new ones. then you have to assemble the piece for the strap (very easy) and you're done

five minute job

certain guitar stands- you need to be careful there. also be careful with polish etc. EDIT: basically, if it doesn't categorically say it's safe with nitro, assume it's not.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

it should come with a case shouldnt it?
so it would stay in that rather then a stand,

how about straps?
