Hi,
I have a standard fender stratocaster and i want to buy polish/cleaner for it. It was a gift and i dont know what kind of fretboard it is, and i can't just buy any cleaner for it right? How can I tell what type of fretboard it is ? and any suggestions on what polish/cleaner to use? Thanks!

heres some pics if it helps

Yeah, it's rosewood. Try to use cleaners specifically for fretboards. Something like lemon oil or fretboard conditioner.

polish it every time you change strings and wipe it down after playing to keep the strings cleaner
