ok so i bought a seymour duncan 59 to replace the stock bridge pickup in my epi les paul standard. After putting it in i tested it out and realized that it wasnt as loud as the stock neck pickup, is there a way to make the volume louder? or should i just look for a new pickup

^yeah try that
one possible explanation is that the epi neck pickup is pretty high output (as most of the epi pups are) and since the 59 is a moderate output pickup, it cant hold up with the neck (as bridge should actually be MORE output than neck)

+1. At least it gives you a good reason to swap out your neck pup now.
