i think thats what its called.

we recorded at this studio once, and it like a keyboard, only it has a touch screen computer on top of it, and you can set different sides of the keys for different sounds and stuff.

anyway, it sounded heaps good for epic intros, and enter shikari like synth stuff.

anyone know what brands make theese, how much they would cost, and if they are as good as they look?

if this would go better in a different thread, just tell me.

thanks

Yea pretty sure thats what they're called. I got quite excited when i first saw Jordan Rudess playing one of those, thought to myself i gotta have one, then noticed the price .

Apparently they have made a 'Baby' model of the Oasys, the M-3 which is only £2000

You can get cheaper Synths than the Oasys depending on what you are actually going to be using it for. Most synths can achieve the sounds you described. Workstations just have a lot more features and the ability to record and what not.

You know you're a bassist when you think a guitar is just some freaky type of short scale, six string bass.
