it basically about a guy who builds a ship with a controlled black hole in it to enable him to fold time and space to be able to jump from one point to any other instantaniously, but the ship accidentally jumps into another dimension and brings back a demonic being who takes control of the ship and starts making all of the crew kill themselves.

its pretty badass.

Fuck, how come I've never heard of this 'til now?

I am so watching this on the weekend.

Saw it a few years ago. Not bad.

I think it was a brilliant idea for a film but they kinda lost their way and it started to get too convoluted part way through.

*googles convoluted*

I agree!

I liked it. One of the few newer horror movies that don't disappoint.

awesome movie, although there's a bit where they first enter the ship, and everything suppose to be frozen (according to the woman), but yet a bottle of water floats past the camera, and you can clearly hear the water squishing around

Well, you have to consider that most of the horror greats are a lot older.

Saw a copy in my local video shop a couple of days ago, it looked pretty interesting, but I've heard both good and bad things about it, my dad calls it 'Non-event Horizon' for instance. But I'll give it my own view.

Watch it, like it, and then put your dad in an airlock.

This movie scared the living shit out of me when I watched it as a kid at like 1:30 in the morning all by myself. I think I turned i off after the black guy died.
I had nightmares that night...

Yeah i really enjoyed that movie, there were a couple of cheesy moments though, like when that black guy got shot out into space and he's like "Damn! Now why this always gotta happen to a brother!" instead of crapping his pants like a regular person.... Comical, heh, but a really good movie overall.
I did not get my Spaghetti-O's, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know this.

I´ll never get why the black guys are always comical relief.

oh well, the Germans are always the bad guys and the americans always the fat greedy ones.

and the brits always have bad teeth and are expected to either talk like hugh grant or a drunken guy from wessex. not that i have any idea what that would sound like, it just seems appropriate.
