Title says it all.

My mom suggests washing what you want to be shrunk in hot water.
I've also heard letting the clothes you want to be smaller sit out while being wet, but I'm not sure for how long.

What I'm really looking for is control. Knowing how much they are going to shrink.

Any suggestions?

If you wanna shrink clothes to be a skinny fit then apparently if you sit in a bath of cold water for a few hours that works, have heard as much from a few sources, including Mythbusters...

... But it does involve sitting in cold water in your clothes for hours
