Hi all, I've been playing guitar for a little over 2 years now. I listen to lots of different types of music but I'm mainly into death metal. I have 3 electric guitars but no acoustics so I was going to buy one. It would be better for me to practice on and do my finger exercises for shredding because of the higher action and stuff. Anyways, what is the best acoustic guitar for $150 or less? I know that's not much money, but I'm just buying a cheap acoustic to practice on. I don't know what brands are good and what to get... There's not too much to choose from in that price range. Also, I'd prefer a lighter colored acoustic, no black or dark colors. Thanks all!

thanks for responding, but I don't really care for the way it looks... does Rogue make decent beginner guitars? all their stuff is really cheap

No probs.

I'm not familiar with rogue, I've seen them on mf. I'd assume they'd be your standard cheapest music store guitar suitable for beginners practice and red headed step children.

There's also a Takamine for $99 on there, much better quality.

lmao, red headed step children... ok, what would be better betweem these two:

They are both extremely cheap ****ty guitars, but I like the way they look and I'm just going to practice on them. And don't just say the Takamine because of the brand please (though it's not even a real Takamine, it's Jasmine by Takamine).

Whatever you prefer really, there's not going to be a great deal of difference. I personally think the Taka... ok Jasmine looks nicer, nothing really to do with brand names.
