Just listened to a song of theirs it was kinda like Dog Fashion Disco + HORSE the band + Core band. Honestly i didnt like it that much...

I can kind of see the DFD comparison, as they both have the constantly changing mood/style thing going on with-in songs, though DFD is more straight ahead, I've'nt listened to much HORSE, but what I have heard I guess I never likened to Unexpect.
I'm not seeing the core part at all though.

If you want real trippy music check out anything by Bjork, though Medulla is my favorite.
Almost everything on the album is vocals that have been synthesized and arranged in to songs, at least songs in the respect that any Bjork piece of music is a song.

Electric Music For the Mind and Body by Country Joe and the Fish.

They're quite an unknown '60s band, but that album was voted the most psychedelic album of all time by Digitaldreamdoor.

i have frizzle fry by primus, im not sure if youd classify it as trippy, but its pretty friggin weird.
