this weekend me and a few of my friends are going to jam for our first time, we all have been playing a while just not together.

its going to be awesome! Just curious, who do you think should start the jam?
My friend she he should since he's the drummer and everyone makes tuff up around his beats, but i think that the guitarist should since its easier for the drums to adapt to the guitar than vice-versa.

what do you guys think?

I honestly don't think it matters who starts. Let him kick one off, jam out for a while then after a drink break pull out some riffs to kick things off again.

+1. It's not a big deal, just let each other have turns etc and you'll be sweet. Best of luck
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

My band usually just takes turns starting the jams. Its really nothing to worry about. Everyone will click in eventually.
